I created this product from a deep desire to reduce waste, but the reality of producing and shipping these delicate discs sustainably has proven more complex than I anticipated. I know it has also affected some customers' experience if they arrive melted or misshaped.

I am currently reassessing packaging and shipping of these to see if it's possible to improve the overall management and experience.

Our best-selling vegan deodorant cream offers the same clean, organic ingredients as our deodorant stick, minus the beeswax! This effective, mineral-powered formula is designed to help prevent odor without irritation from baking soda or the risk of aluminum.

Base Ingredients:

  • Maranta arundinacea (Arrowroot) Powder: Absorbs moisture and helps neutralize odor.
  • Magnesium Hydroxide: A natural mineral that fights odor-causing bacteria.
  • Cocos nucifera (Coconut) Oil: Moisturizes and nourishes the skin.
  • Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) Oil: Mimics skin's natural oils and helps condition the skin.
  • Mangifera indica (Mango) Butter: Provides rich moisture and antioxidants.
  • Tocopherol (Vitamin E Oil): A natural antioxidant that nourishes and protects the skin.

How to Use & Refill
  1. Chill: Refrigerate your refill bag for 2 hours upon arrival to harden the discs.
  2. Refill: Remove discs with clean, dry hands and place them in a clean, dry jar.
  3. Soften: Allow the deodorant cream to reach room temperature for 2 hours before use.
  4. Apply: During regular use, scoop out a small amount with dry fingers and gently massage into your armpits.

Care Tips:

  • Keep your deodorant cream out of direct sunlight and away from heat.
  • Use dry fingers or a spoon to prevent water from entering the jar, which can cause mold or bacteria growth.

Without Preservatives

Formulation

All HANDS products are anhydrous, meaning they are made without water. This allows formulations to be made without preservatives, emulsifiers or thickeners. As a result, these products may be a thicker/less watery consistency than commercial products you with which you are accustomed. 
This also allows the active botanicals to be more available to your skin, and presents the cleanest formulas possible. As a result, extra care also needs to be taken to not allow water to enter the jar.
