However, with every order there will be variance, depending on your location, what’s in stock, and the current temperature.

Typically, orders placed Monday through Wednesday will ship within 1-2 business days via UPS 2-day for east/midwest states, and UPS 3-day for mountain & west coast states.

Due to the delicate nature of some of our products, we do not ship on Thursdays or Fridays. Orders placed Thursday through Sunday will be shipped the following week.

Due to these unpredictable factors, we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time. If you are in need of receiving your order within an express expedited time frame, please email us before placing your order so that we can assist you and determine if we can accommodate the request.

During the summer, when temps are above 80 degrees, please expect your order to take longer, as we carefully watch the weather in both shipping and receiving cities. We will not ship certain products like deodorant cream & refills, as well as moisturizers, when the temperature is 85 degrees or above.

This is due in part to product being fresh as well and heat sensitive. Shipping costs include the actual rates from carriers (which often range from $8–$10 for most eastern U.S. states and at least $15 for western states), as well as eco-conscious packing materials like FSC-certified cardboard boxes, paper tape, plastic-free packaging fills, and compostable labels. While big box stores can offer "free" shipping by cutting corners on quality or sustainability, or building it into product prices, we believe in providing a transparent and fair pricing model that reflects the care and values behind our products. HANDS products are all anhydrous, meaning they are made without water. This allows me to create formulations without preservatives, emulsifiers, or thickeners, resulting in the cleanest possible formulas for your skin. Anhydrous products may have a thicker consistency than you're used to, but this also means the active botanicals are more readily available to nourish and protect your skin.
