How to Use

APPLY A THICK LAYER TO BURN AREA, LEAVING ON LIKE A MASK FOR 20-30 MINUTES BEFORE GENTLY MASSAGING INTO SKIN.

CONTINUE 1-2X DAILY UNTIL IMPROVEMENT IS SEEN. IF IRRITATION OCCURS, DISCONTINUE USE.

FOR BUG BITES, APPLY A PEA SIZED AMOUNT, RUB IN AND LEAVE TO SINK IN. REPEAT AS NEEDED.

Originally commissioned by a local acupuncturist, she used it to treat a young client with a heat burn. "We used the burn balm after my daughter burned her hand with scalding hot water at camp. It was easy to apply 3 times a day, kept it from drying out, had herbs to aid in healing, made it easy to massage it to keep scar tissue from forming and it smelled great."

Made with a powerful infusion of organic lavender, calendula, yarrow, plantain, echinacea root, and St. John's wort in jojoba and avocado oil, this balm delivers deep nourishment and anti-inflammatory support. Mango butter and ethically harvested beeswax create a soft, protective cushion on the skin, while lavender and peppermint essential oils provide added relief and a light herbal scent.

Orders are typically processed and shipped Monday through Wednesday. Some products are made to order and may add a couple of days to processing. We’ll contact you if your order will take more than a week to arrive.

Most orders ship via UPS 2-day (East/Midwest) or UPS 3-day (West/Mountain states). We don’t ship Thursday through Sunday to protect temperature-sensitive items.

In summer, if temps rise above 85°F in shipping or delivery cities, we may delay products like creams and deodorants to ensure safe arrival.

Without Preservatives

Formulation

All HANDS products are anhydrous, meaning they are made without water. This allows formulations to be made without preservatives, emulsifiers or thickeners. As a result, these products may be a thicker/less watery consistency than commercial products you with which you are accustomed. 
This also allows the active botanicals to be more available to your skin, and presents the cleanest formulas possible. As a result, extra care also needs to be taken to not allow water to enter the jar.
