Our new Blue Aura Calming Mask is made with a combination of calming plants that assist is soothing inflammation, redness and irritations on skin.

Once applied, the mask feels cool and soothing, with mucilage from aloe & marshmallow root giving the mask a gel-like feel.

This formula is clay-free, and should provide topical relief for skin flare-ups.


Blue Cornflower contains anthocyanins that have strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. They also contain polysaccharides (mainly galacturonic acid, arabinose, glucose, rhamnose, and galactose) with anti-inflammatory and soothing properties which offer cooling and toning properties that help soothe irritated skin.

Lavender’s potent natural healing properties extend to assisting troubling skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis and rosacea. It also soothes and helps heal the sunburns, minor cuts, wounds, burns, rashes and insect bites.

Blue Butterfly Pea Flower contains a high concentration of naturally occurring polyphenols and flavonoids, a potent antioxidant. Flavonoids are antioxidants that help reducing inflammation, redness, & stress.

Rose petals are rich in essential vitamins and antioxidants, which are pivotal in regenerating skin tissues, tightening pores, and imparting a natural glow to the skin. Their anti-inflammatory properties help in reducing redness and calming the skin, making them an excellent choice for all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin. The hydrating qualities of rose petals further ensure that the skin remains moisturized, plump, and soft to the touch

Chamomile is another tried and true herb that also contains anti-inflammatory and antioxidant qualities to help the wound repair process, reduce redness and fight bacteria so skin is soothed.

Baobab possesses anti-inflammatory properties, making it an excellent natural remedy to soothe irritated skin. It may help reduce redness, itching, and inflammation, providing relief for those with sensitive or problematic skin.

Marshmallow Root is anti-inflammatory, soothing & hydrating. Both the root and leaves contain a gummy substance called mucilage. When mixed with water, it forms a slick gel that helps to soothe irritated skin.

White Turmeric Root lends anti-inflammatory benefits.

Aloe Vera has antibacterial properties that can help control, reduce and prevent acne. Aloe's magnesium lactate content may also help alleviate stinging from acne, while its anthraquinone may help boost skin cell regeneration. The saponins and salicylic acid in Aloe may also help re-set the skin’s pH to normal levels, zap viral and bacterial activity all while minimizing pores.

*Keep in mind our skin in always in flux, depending on your health, diet, lifestyle, quality of water you drink and use on skin, water intake, other products being used, weather/season, etc. so though we may give our skin these categories (normal, dry, oily, combination), it is important to pay attention to changes and support them accordingly in a fluid manner.

  • Using a clean spoon, blend up to a tablespoon with warm water into a paste & apply to clean face. Leave on for 10-20 minutes without drying out, and then rinse off gently with warm water. Do not leave mask on after it dries. Please see mask card for use. follow with hydrosol & moisturizer.
  • Prepare your space with a wooden spoon, small bowl & towel
  • Open bag without water running and spoon out your desired amount of mask mix into bowl
  • Close bag before running water
  • Do not scoop the mask mix out with wet fingers
  • Mix your mask with warm water to your desired consistency. Thinner mask will dry more quickly and give less time for ingredients to work.
  • You can also experiment with activators, including rose water, avocado oil, yogurt, milk & honey, and aloe juice or gel.
  • DO NOT allow the mask to dry on your face. When you start to feel it drying, you may either mist with water to extend the mask session, or rinse it off. Keeping a clay mask on after it has dried removes water and nutrients from the skin that you've just put it.
  • When you're ready to rinse, use warm water and gently soften the mask. Do not pull the skin. Run the water slowly. You may also use a hot damp washcloth to save water.
  • Once mask is fully rinsed, gently dry your face in a light tapping manner with your towel.
  • Allow your skin time to breathe before applying any other skin care.
  • Clay masks are detoxifying. We recommend no more than 2 times per week.
  • Clay masks may occasionally draw toxins to the surface, causing a blemish. This is normal, as long as it is not pervasive or occuring in large quantities. If so, take a break from clay masks for a couple weeks to allow your skin to rebalance.


  • Keep out of direct sun & away from heat
  • May be refrigerated to extend freshness
  • Please remove mask mix with dry spoon, and close bag before mixing with water to prevent water from entering and causing mold & bacteria growth


  • Remove the labels from bag, throw them in the trash
  • Bag is certified home Compostable, or take to your local composting facility
