Pumpkin Resurfacing Mask

| /

The season is changing, and with it, your skin! You've spend the summer in the sun, soaking up all that vitamin D and UV rays. Now it's time to reverse, repair with this resurfacing mask. Full of minerals, vitamins, alpha-hydroxy acids that help exfoliate, brighten the skin and promote collagen & blood flow, this mask is a beautiful mix of fall colors and scents and will help prepare your skin for cooler weather.

Red Moroccan Clay is rich in minerals, including silica and magnesium, and has a high absorption rate for toxins. Research shows it is powerful in helping to firm and clarify the skin. It can also help improve dryness, remove dead skin cells and excess sebum.

Organic pumpkin is a powerhouse for these goals. Containing Vitamins C, A & E, it brings antioxidant action that helps reverse UV damage and improve skin texture.

Pumpkin's alpha-hydroxy acids may help remove dead skin cells, smooth wrinkles, & reduce spots, while its zinc can help prevent acne & reduce redness. Pumpkin may also help with boosting collagen production.

Organic Apple also provides natural alpha-hydroxy acids that provide UV protection, and may help prevent acne, clear blemishes & dark spots, and tone the skin.

Organic Vanilla Powder is another acne preventor, acting as an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial & antioxidant helper.

Organic Camu Camu is loaded with natural vitamin C and may help improve collagen density & skin elasticity.

A touch of ginger, vanilla and nutmeg essential oils will work to compliment and enhance the botanicals' work.

  • 4 oz by Volume in Compostable Bag

  • Not for Children
  • Check with your health care provider if you are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Prepare your space with a wooden spoon, small bowl & towel
  • Open bag without water running and spoon out your desired amount of mask mix into bowl
  • Close bag before running water
  • Do not scoop the mask mix out with wet fingers
  • Mix your mask with warm water to your desired consistency. Thinner mask will dry more quickly and give less time for ingredients to work.
  • You can also experiment with activators, including rose water, avocado oil, yogurt, milk & honey, and aloe juice or gel.
  • DO NOT allow the mask to dry on your face. When you start to feel it drying, you may either mist with water to extend the mask session, or rinse it off. Keeping a clay mask on after it has dried removes water and nutrients from the skin that you've just put it.
  • When you're ready to rinse, use warm water and gently soften the mask. Do not pull the skin. Run the water slowly. You may also use a hot damp washcloth to save water.
  • Once mask is fully rinsed, gently dry your face in a light tapping manner with your towel.
  • Allow your skin time to breathe before applying any other skin care.
  • Clay masks are detoxifying. We recommend no more than 2 times per week.
  • Clay masks may occasionally draw toxins to the surface, causing a blemish. This is normal, as long as it is not pervasive or occuring in large quantities. If so, take a break from clay masks for a couple weeks to allow your skin to rebalance.

  • Keep out of direct sun & away from heat
  • May be refrigerated to extend freshness
  • Please remove mask mix with dry spoon, and close bag before mixing with water to prevent water from entering and causing mold & bacteria growth
